CCI
Valve make high-performance control valves used in a variety of power associated
industries such as the nuclear power and oil and gas industries. These valves function
at very high flow rates and pressures. Cavitation can occur in such cruel circumstances,
leading to serious damage to valves. To help direct the development of future
valves, CCI is interested in obtaining a system that allows cavitations to be
studied experimentally. The aim of this project is to develop a test loop that
allows one to experimentally measure cavitations in valve systems.
